Among these nine schools Bloomberg School of Public Health
is highly ranked, the university owns a hospital known as Johns Hopkins
Hospital which is top ranked hospital in the United States. Other highly ranked
schools are Whiting School of Engineering, School of Medicine, School of
Nursing, School of Education, School of Advanced International Studies and the
Peabody Institute for music and dance. The primary campus for undergraduates in
Johns Hopkins is located in the neighborhood of Charles Village. The three
other campuses have different graduate schools.
John Hopkins University has total enrollment of around
21000, in which there are around 6500 undergraduate students. About 52% of the
students in Johns Hopkins live in college owned housing. The application
deadline is January 1s, in fall 2104 only 15% applicants were accepted.
Around 47 percent full time undergraduate students received need based or merit
based scholarship at Johns Hopkins. The student faculty ratio is 10:1 in Johns
